This watch features a vibrant salmon-coloured dial made from coral, with a subtle pattern.

This Piaget Calatrava is powered by the ultra-thin handwound 9P movement, developed and manufactured in-house by Piaget. This was necessary to keep the watch thin, given how thick stone dials are when compared to normal metal dials.

The yellow gold rectangular case is a classic 70s design. The dauphine hands and sterile dial put the stunning stone dial front and centre, showing off its unique pattern.

PIAGET

Piaget is a name often thought of as a jewellery brand, but was actually founded in 1874 as a movement maker for watch and clock companies. The brand focused on creating ultra-thin watches, as well as turning ordinary items like rings, coins and cufflinks into timepieces. During the mid-20th Century, Piaget turned its expertise to the manufacture of high-end jewellery.

Today, Piaget is one of the few Swiss watchmakers who design and produce their movements in-house. It's pursuit of mechanical excellence is still apparent, with multiple world records coming from its ultra-thin Altiplano collection.
