Rolex Sea-Dweller 50th Anniversary 126600

This watch is in excellent condition, with some very light marks to the 3 o'clock side of the case.

The Sea-Dweller is Rolex's answer to those who liked the Submariner, but required a watch that could go deeper into the sea. It was launched in 1967 and offered triple the Submariner's water resistance by using a helium escape valve.

The 50th Anniversary edition commemorates the anniversary of the first Sea-Dweller being released. Featuring a distinctive red font on the dial, it was controversial for introducing the previously-absent cyclops on the date window. According to some, this decision was a "correction" of the technical inability to put a cyclops on the original reference.
