This watch is in excellent condition, with light handling marks only.
Comes in original box with hang tags, bezel cover, instruction booklet and dated guarantee card. Minor stains on outer box sleeve
The Rolex Explorer's name originated from the watches that were given to various mountaineering teams, including the one that would conquer the summit of Mount Everest.
While originally designed for ease of use by mountaineers in the blinding snow, the Rolex Explorer I has become one of Rolex's most versatile models. Unlike the distinctive bezels on the Submariner or Daytona, the Explorer I has no clear defining characteristic apart from the 3-6-9 dial. This has made it popular amongst collectors and customers who enjoy the trademark Rolex quality, but prefer a less recognisable watch.
ROLEX
Known by many simply as 'the Crown', Rolex has certainly done much to deserve its reputation. From its founding just over a century ago by a German immigrant in the UK, Rolex has grown to become an international behemoth, recognisable (and indeed visible) across the globe.
Few other watchmakers can boast the same combination of consistency, quality and desirability as Rolex. Everything from the build quality of the cases and bracelets to the chronometer-rated movements are designed to ensure that even the most discerning of owners are satisfied.
