The Rolex Day-Date was first introduced in 1956, and had been conceived as a flagship product for the brand's collection. Featuring an innovative approach to telling the date, it was (and still is to this day) only offered in precious metal. The overall design of the watch has barely changed since its release, and continues to be one of the most recognisable watches out there thanks to its association with the rich, famous and powerful.

This version doesn't let down on the 'bling front' - instead, it doubles down. Instead of applied Roman numerals or luminescent markers, this Day-Date has diamond and ruby markers, complementing the warm chocolate brown dial. It has the classic fluted bezel, and is paired with a practical Oyster bracelet.

ROLEX

Known by many simply as "the Crown", Rolex has certainly done much to deserve its reputation. From its founding just over a century ago by a German immigrant in the UK, Rolex has grown to become an international behemoth, recognisable (and indeed visible) across the globe.

Few other watchmakers can boast the same combination of consistency, quality and desirability as Rolex. Everything from the build quality of the cases and bracelets to the chronometer-rated movements are designed to ensure that even the most discerning of owners are satisfied.
