Oris' Diver 65 is the brand's take on a vintage-styled diver. With a big crown, metal bezel, and lume-filled hands, this watch follows the design language of the very first dive watches from the 1950s and 1960s. With a variety of dials and case options, the Diver 65 line has a watch for everyone.

ORIS

For a watch brand, Oris is remarkably young. "Only" founded in 1904, it is based in Hölstein, rather than the traditional watchmaking hotspots of the Vallée de Joux or the "Jura triangle".

Throughout most of the 20th Century, Oris did spectacularly well and soon became one of the largest producers of wristwatches in Switzerland. When the Quartz Crisis hit, however, Oris' position as a more affordable brand meant it was amongst the most heavily affected. Like many other struggling brands, it was purchased by ASUAG, one of the Swatch Group's predecessors.

In 1982, Oris became independent again and refocused on mechanical watches, ending production of quartz-powered watches altogether. Since then, Oris has been renowned for producing high-quality Swiss watches at a relatively affordable price point, made possible through its use of ebauche movements from manufacturers like ETA. Today, however, Oris has once again begun introducing in-house movements with the handwound Caliber 110 and automatic Caliber 400, both featuring modern technology and design.
