12 Month Warranty
This watch is in excellent condition. There are some light scuffs on the dial near 12 o'clock. There are also some light marks on the case.
Watch comes with original box, outer box, instruction booklet, hang tag, chronometer card, pictogram card and dated warranty card.
A portmanteau of 'Plongeur Professional' (the French term for 'professional diver'), the Ploprof was created to serve the needs of actual technical divers (rather than swimmers or people who worked near water). This meant that the watch had to deal with substantial pressure changes, from decompression chambers to 600 metres under the sea. The Ploprof also features a bezel locking mechanism, which is found in the distinctive button on the side of the case which must be pushed before the crown can be rotated.
OMEGA
Omega is in the unique position of being perhaps the most versatile out of all the watchmakers currently still in operation. Its product lineup includes dive watches, automatic and manual chronographs, as well haute joaillerie works of art. The brand has even demonstrated its high-end watchmaking capabilities by creating complications such as the tourbillon.
Omega's story goes further than just its watches, however. The brand has had a long and rich history of being called upon in times of need, and has sold watches to everyone from the British Royal Flying Corps during the First World War to NASA during the Space Race. More recently, Omega has been known as the exclusive supplier of watches to James Bond.
