This watch is in excellent condition. There is a small scratch on the side of the case at 2 o'clock and on top of the lower left lug.
Comes in original box with documents and original purchase receipt. Warranty card present and undated.
The Big Pilot traces its heritage back to the "B-Uhr" bomber observation watches which IWC produced in 1940 for the German Air Force. It wasn't until 2002, however, when IWC revived the model into its collection. The Big Pilot is true to its name - these watches are not subtle or subdued, instead showing off their wrist presence on the wearer.

IWC, previously known as the International Watch Company, is the unlikely result of an American businessman's industrial practices applied to traditional Swiss watchmaking. His attempt to industrialise Swiss watchmaking was heavily opposed in French Switzerland, but he found in Schaffhausen a town that welcomed his ideas.
Fast forward to today, IWC stays close to its industrial-age heritage. While the new manufacture looks nothing like the factories of the 19th Century, it still approaches watchmaking with the same efficiency that was unheard of when the company was first conceived.
