Dornbluth & Sohn is a small-scale German independent watchmaker based out of Kalbe in Saxony-Anhalt. The manufacture takes immense pride in using traditional watchmaking tools rather than modern equipment.

While mechanically based on an ETA calibre, the movement powering this watch is lavishly decorated by hand. These features include screwed gold chatons, snailed wheels, blued screws, and hand engravings on the plates and balance cock. The rose gold plating on the plates further highlights the care given to decorating the movement, which while de rigueur for high-end watches, is seldom seen in this price range.

This particular watch features a small seconds subdial as well as a power reserve.

The watch is in excellent/near mint condition, with only microscratches from handling present on the case and bezel. The leather strap with the deployant is quite worn, and as such we have presented the watch on a generic brown leather strap with a pin buckle.
