BREMONT
Bremont's purpose and mission has never been a secret. From the very beginning, the brand's aim has been to return British watchmaking to the horological world stage. In doing so, it has dedicated itself to building up a substantial manufacturing base in the UK which is capable of producing movements and watches on a substantial scale. Its new manufacturing plant opened in 2021, and has already started producing watches and movements.
There is also a more human side to Bremont. Founded by two brothers, the company was named after a French farmer who assisted the stricken pair after their WW2-era aircraft crashed, tragically killing their father. Years later, the brothers founded their watch brand, initially drawing inspiration and design cues from military aviation.
